Past AWAC Annual Reports
The Alliance of Women Advocating for Change (AWAC) Uganda publishes annual reports every year to document the lived realities, resistance, and leadership of women sex workers. These documents serve as feminist tools of accountability, shifting the power of knowledge production from traditional, patriarchal institutions back to the grassroots community. Through mapping out their interventions across dozens of districts in Uganda, AWAC reclaims the narrative around marginalized women and girls.
