Lucia Ruvarashe

Programs volunteer.

Lucia is a brilliant, eccentric as well as dynamic body confidence and youth advocate. She has a wealth of experience in advocacy training and execution, meaningful youth participation, leadership and governance. She currently works as Programs volunteer at the Alliance of Women Advocating for Change- a role she cherishes as it allows her to work on programs that bring socioeconomic and reproductive health empowerment to grassroots Female Sex Workers and minoritized youth. Lucia is also affiliated with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts as the Africa Region Vice Chairperson, the youngest in history- a position that allows her to work with and inspire young women in over 30 countries in Africa through organizing and leading digital programs and trainings targeted at their social and economic growth. She’s firm believer in promoting social economic and political empowerment for a gender-balanced society that will accomplish a progressive society as well as youth empowerment. When she is not working, Lucia loves to travel, read a good book and take nature walks.
