We are proud to share the latest edition of our service delivery blog, highlighting the impactful work of AWAC Drop-In Centres in promoting HIV and sexual reproductive health services. We have made significant strides in extending our services to vulnerable communities, strengthening partnerships with health facilities, and empowering marginalized groups. Our integrated cervical cancer activities have ensured a continuum of care for individuals throughout their healing journey. We have also conducted outreaches targeting sex workers, including children living in sex work settings, and strengthened partnerships with health facilities to improve service delivery. Additionally, our Community Health Livelihood and Enhancement Groups (CHLEG) have achieved remarkable milestones, promoting economic inclusion and personal growth among Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) and Sex Workers living with disabilities.
We are also grateful for the recognition from CDC Atlanta and CDC Uganda, acknowledging our commitment to excellence in providing tailored HIV response services to sex workers. Our partnership with Kampala Capital City Authority has also enabled us to promote access to essential health resources in vulnerable communities. We remain dedicated to delivering high-quality community services and making a positive impact in the lives of our grassroots community members.
