This aims at promote rights grassroots rural and peri-urban based female sex workers and those with intersecting vulnerabilities countrywide. AWAC achieves this through the Kitobero Holistic Literacy Programme (KHLIPs)

AWAC achieves this through the Kitobero Holistic Literacy Programme (KHLIPs) model–which compasses Accelerated Learning program to enhance capacities of FSWs in basic reading, writing, Arithmetic, digital literacy and security, first aid, journaling and reflection, expressive art using KHLIPs model; through gender justice and legal literacy FSWs get to know their rights and responsibilities and are empowered to use their voice to challenge toxic masculinities patriarchy, stereotyping harmful gender norms, stigma formal and informal.

The advocacy campaigns not only spotlighted the GBV related issues affecting female but increased  the visibility of respective grassroot CBOs and attracted duty bearers’ commitments to support female sex workers initiatives to end  GBV.
