Welcome to our newsletter highlighting the activities and milestones at AWAC in the last quarter. We have been busy promoting human rights, building socioeconomic resilience, and providing access to inclusive universal healthcare. We resumed empowering Female Sex Workers with disabilities, and our District Community Rights Advocates continue to engage duty bearers and stakeholders to promote and fulfill FSWs’ human rights.
Our innovative ways of work are being recognized, and we have been consulting minoritized youth on intersectional SRH services through the Make Way Programme.
We have also been building community tenacity in public health emergencies and launched the CAHIVPlus initiative in partnership with UNAIDS. Our staff has also been building their capacity in Monitoring and Evaluation, Resource Mobilisation, and evidence-based decision making.
